Empowering generations of API women in the Central Valley since 1980

Investing in the Next Generation of Asian Pacific Leaders
For over 40 years, CCAPW has provided financial support and mentorship to young Asian and Pacific Islander women pursuing higher education. Our scholarships are more than just funding—they’re a
long-term investment in leadership, community impact, and generational change.
Since 1980, we’ve awarded over $450,000 in scholarships to women and girls from across the Central Valley—many from refugee or low-income families, and many the first in their families to attend college. Past recipients have gone on to become educators, healthcare providers, artists, organizers, and CCAPW board members—leaders in every sense of the word.

CCAPW Scholarships: Investing in the Future of AANHPI Women
CCAPW scholarships provide financial support to Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) women pursuing higher education who have roots in California’s Central Valley—including Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Merced, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, and Tulare counties.
These scholarships are part of our long-standing commitment to uplifting young women who are often the first in their families to attend college, and who demonstrate leadership, resilience, and a desire to give back to their communities.
